eBay won't get any final value fees on the sales or payments that aren't bids so I doubt it's legal.

Pretty slick. The auction ran for less than 8 hours and he ended it. Since Ebay didn't delete it he has an ad that will run for 90 days all for a 30 cent listing, with no final value fees to pay. Listind a sham auction to post an ad is a no no. That'l get him a warning. The bigger thing here is the issue of fee avoidance. If safeharbour sees it that way they will probably hang him out to dry.

Sparkz, good point. Hmmm.... maybe he saw this thread?

Hi Lucy

Search completed auctions for "head vase" and you will see the prices. Most of them usually do really well, especially the harder to find ones.

Here is a site on the history of head vases and about collecting them.

Head vases... Amazing, simply amazing what some go for...

Guess I better keep my eyes open for them.

Lucy, the head vases are not cheap. I saw some at an estate sale and they were asking upwards of $50.00, but I think they sell for 75 or more (45-50 if you can get a good ebay deal.)

But you dont see them around that often.

OTOH: much more appealing than head cheese!
