I just received an email from cardholder.org-blah-blah-blah. It states that my credit card has been charged 234.65 for money laundering because I am a pornography website owner or I have dirty money I need to have laundry (actual quote). I am then told to enter my card number and expiration date and then check the yes or no button to verify or deny the claim. I decided I definitely do NOT want to meet the morons that enter the information and then check the "NO" button so they don't get charged.

No, I don't own a porno website and if I need my money laundered I'll just leave it in my jeans pocket and run it through the washer like I normally do at least once a week.

20 minutes later, after I stopped laughing myself silly I decided to let everyone in on this cute little scam.

This is no joke. I really did receive this.

Enjoy!!!

Sorry, Capolady, I wasn't clear.

There's a thread here on Vendio with the title:

This is probably not worth listing... or is it?

It's about a big Capodimonte flower basket.

That scam reminded me of a virus message I once got. It said the writer was a student who was learning how to write viruses. Since he could not complete his assignment, would I be so kind as to help him out by deleting some important files and then sending the message to my friends.

I also got that money laudering thing. They start out by telling you that they're charging your card and then ask you to give them the info. Did anyone really fall for that? Oh, I forgot. This is the Internet where some folks automatically believe everything they see. Like you can get a laptop for half price by sending a money order to Romania.

I got a couple scams that told me flowers were ordered from their site (they mentioned a big name flower site), and if I didn't authorize this sale, to click here (I'm sure they asked for CC info next..I passed when when the amoung of flowers was 8 dozen roses for $36 LOL).
