I just waded through all that ALI message board stuff. How terribly confusing it is! I liked your succinct solution on page one of the lonnnnng message thread and have copied and will now paste it below. PLEASE tell me if this has worked for you. Thanks! Edited to add: Oops. Just noticed it wasn't your message, it was forceten's. Hmmm.
"o - if you want the new Paypal button to appear, and you have "Include the PayPal Checkout button and logo in
my listing" checked in Global Preferences, and you have "on" checked in Paypal for Automatic insertion, there is no
need to do anything?

LOL - my post was later and I tried to describe that there were TWO options, that one for people who wanted the "pay now" button and another for those who don't...VD sure made an easy change into something that was nearly impossible to figure out!! Most people don't have to do anything.
