Hi, all: For quite a while now, when I look at my ebay e-mail listing confirmation for an item, it says seller will ship to U.S. only.

First time I saw that, I panicked and went to
the auction description itself, where it's clearly stated that I ship worldwide. I stopped worrying then. But I'm just curious as to whether this is the case for other sellers here. It's kinda weird.

There's the auction description and the shipping section of every auction. It's possible to write " I ship internationally " in your auction description but accidently have the " USA Only " box checked in the shipping info section of the listing process.

I don't know if that's what you mean though.

Just checked..my listing confirmation state: seller ships internationally (worldwide)..check your global preferences to see if the wrong box is checked.

Thanks, Neglus. There's nothing in "global preferences" about where I'll ship to. I did check "Ebay preferences," and "will ship internationally" IS checked!

The international shipping is always automatically opted for in each auction I write and launch, and "international" shows in my auctions themselves.

It's ONLY (and oddly!) in my Ebay e-mail confirmation of a listing that the "U.S. only" is incorrectly mentioned.

I'll have to assume it's a glitch on Ebay's side of things and let it ride. Weird, though.

I have found it to be best to also list where you will ship within your auction listing as well. I have about 5 items that cannot be shipped internationally via normal channels so I don't offer them internationally. And because of habit, I forget to uncheck ships internationally box on the listing page. But I do have it very clear in the description that they only ship in the USA. Have never had a problem yet.
