Before we depart on holiday I usually set up auctions to appear to coincide with our return. I Wonder if this feature is widely used ? - I had to wait an awful long while for Vendio to go beyond their 10 day forward window. I Set up perhaps 120 auctions this way and wonder how many other people set up, if indeed anyone else bothers ? -- the hosters do not charge for the feature but I notice the scrooges at e-bay do.

I use the eBay scheduling feature, despite the fact that MyeBay is buggy as well and I can never be 100% positive that all auctions will fire off as scheduled.

To give you a bug example: eBay "started" one of my auctions THREE DAYS before it was scheduled to start. It still appeared in the Pending list, but it also appeared in my Seller list as an active auction even though the stated start date was three days in the future. I don't know if it could be bid on before the official start date.

Database error big-time.

Yes, it costs 10 cents to schedule. An employee trained to post auctions would cost me much more than that. I happily pay this eBay fee. If I have 6 of an item, I can list one to start now and 5 to start in the future. Great timesaver.

Our motto: Bright and shiny baubles for persons with low impulse control.

I always use the Vendio auction scheduling feature..I run about 400 auctions at any given time and the $30/month I pay Vendio is money well spent for this one feature alone! It has no glitches and always works perfectly UNLESS eBay has problems when auctions are scheduled to launch (havent had that problem for several months).

Fluffy- you can schedule identical auctions through vendio too (one-click "copy auction" and schedule the start date and time of subsequent auctions).
