How can a unregistered bidder with no contact info. and zero feedback bid on any auction? I think I've seen this come up before.

You can remove the bid, anyway- I would!

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

If a person becomes NARU, all their outstanding bids are cancelled automatically by Ebay. They call it an administrative cancellation. There must have been a glitch in the system, or they have been recently reinstated and Ebay hasn't updated their info yet.

I couldn't find where to remove a bid without cancelling the auction. Am I missing something? I've put them on my blocked bidder list but that didn't remove their bid, at least not yet. Thanks for any input.

Thanks, got it done. The person didn't like it but seemed to calm down when I explained my trepidation and that it wasn't personal. I still don't want their bid though.

It might be related somehow to Half.com.

I seem to get a lot of feedback on Half from NARU people. I'm guessing being NARU on eBay doesn't affect you on Half and vise-versa?

Either that or I'm really bad luck for Half.com people. Leave me feedback and you'll be NARU instantly!

I think a lot of Half sellers got into the habit of never corresponding with their buyers and they still do it when they starting selling on ebay.

In the beginning Half did everything that they could to not let the sellers know the buyers email addresses so the sellers could only send the item without letting the buyer's know it was sent or a refund policy, etc.

It happened to me last spring. The gal won the auction & then was NARUed over a vero problem, she paid for the auction, explained what had happened. A couple of days later, she was reinstated.
