Man, I cant believe some of the prices going on these McDonald game pieces!
Item # 3150565340

Of course I am recruited to look into these for the kids. But you know what, how do you ever get the "winning" pieces like boardwalk or the ones they only put 2 out of or something? I remember that scam a few years ago with McDonalds. Does anybody have kids that play this? Wonder if they put different pieces out if different parts of the country?

Kids that play this... No.

*I* play it. I get McBreakfast every morning on the way to work. Usually wind up with one or two free things a week from the Monopoly game.

Two hundred and thirty two bucks for 200 McDonald's pull tabs??????

If one ticket in ten gets you a free Big Mac, thats 20x$1.99= $39.98 Worth of food.

The odds of actually winning a BIG prize is still pretty miniscule.

There really are some pretty stupid people out there.

Stupid and gamblin' fools. The odds are super bad on most prizes beyond the Big Mac ( heart attack in a sack ).

I do know someone is risking their McDonalds job stealing all of those from work.

Supposedly all large food item pieces have Best Buy Bucks.

Also when I was in college the McDonalds near the campus was always packed as usual. During Monopoly month there is ALWAYS some kids walking around asking everyone if they played and if not could they have their game pieces.

All of the people who didn't play handed them over...... no biggie

Like the Marlboro mile sellers. Those people could not have possibly smoked all those packs, they collect them for sale from everyone they know who doesn't particularly save them.

But $230+ is a crazy amount to pay for a rigged game lol

Maybe the guy that cleans up the McDonald's too? Or a church or scout group that collects them for a charity auction project?
They could come from a variety of sources I suppose.

Back in the late 1970's, my parents sponsored a Jewish Family to immigrate to California from the Soviet Union. After they had settled in for about a month, my parents got a phone call, they thought they had won $1000 in one of those games (at a grocery store). As it turned out, they had won. See, it does happen.

I always had to laugh at those Marlboro miles. "Get the gear" like you could ever climb a mountain after puff, puff, puff'ing your way to win points. :-0

I knew a guy that collected the Marlboro Miles and was saving up for the Marlboro Canoe. I used to kid him and told him to go for the Marlboro Iron Lung instead.
