Niner, believe stamps.com or endicia.com does it.

The post office does it too. Cost is 13 cents and the package has to be three-quarters of an inch thick.

Endicia does it. I send First class with DC quite often. It's only 13 cents more than the basic postage, so there is no reason not to use it on any package.

NOTE: The PO has a requirement that you can only use DC on packages that are 1/4" thick or larger. You can't do it with your bills for example. But I've used it on mailers with jewel cases MANY times.

You CUT off the portion that says "priority" mail.
So you have your From return address, buyers to address and the DC bar code.

Cost is 13 cents and the package has to be three-quarters of an inch thick.

I have been doing it this way and no one says anything.

I'm too lazy to look it up now but isn't it 3/4" thick?

Might be. I was too lazy to look it up too. But the cewel case in #1 bubble envelope is as thin as my stuff gets, and I know that works without a problem.

If you sell stuff between 1/4" and 3/4" you probably ought to read the rules first

It depends on your local postoffice if they accept 1st class with priority but the package has to be 3/4" think in the middle. I quit using eDC with 1st class because many times it was never scanned so therefore I paid for nothing. So now it is just a label on my bubble envelope and I haven't had any problems.

Delivery Confirmation (DMM S918)

For the purposes of adding Delivery Confirmation service to First–Class Mail items or Package Services items, a parcel will be defined as any piece that has an address side with sufficient surface area to fully display the delivery address, return address, postage, markings and endorsements, and Delivery Confirmation label. The parcel will be required to be in a box or, if not in a box, will be required to be more than 3/4–inch thick at its thickest point.

The CD boxes are usually less than 3/4" so they qualify because they are a box and regular as well as electronic delivery confirmation must meet the requirements.

Most clerks at my post office will send ,anything short of a letter, with DC on it and when presented with a package they will not ask what's inside but will instead read off all the possible shipping options and rates. Maybe that's why it's such a popular post office.

Totally unrelated to the topic just the posters ID.
My Buddy just moved down to San Diego from the Bay area. Sent his 13 year old son to school, teacher there was a Charger fan. Asked that all his students be Charger fans. My Buddy's son stood up and said he was a 9er fan because his Mom & Dad both were 9er fans. Teacher said, "Well in this class room you'll have to be a Charger fan." Little Rupert said, "No, both my parents are 9er fans and so am I!" Teacher asked "If your Dad was in prison for car theft and your Mama was a prostitute what would that make you?"

Little Rupert answered honestly, "A Raider fan."

Very accurate. There are two football teams in the Bay Area. The upscale white wine drinking 49er fans that the Raider fans call the the whinners and the blue collar fans' team the Raiders. The Raiders have the worst owner in the history of pro football and it is often said that there are two 'holes' in the Oakland stadium ... the 'black hole' and the 'a$$hole'.

wrightsracing: From the USPS FAQ

"Q. Can I cut-off the top part of the Priority Mail label and use the address and Delivery Confirmation service part for a Parcel Post or Media Mail package?
A. No, online labels can only be used as a whole, the way they were printed. Online label packages mailed at rates other than Priority Mail do not qualify for the electronic rate for Delivery Confirmation and need to be charged the retail rate."
