I vented a real dilly of a vent to them. NEVER expecting,,,,,Well Someone actually DID,,,, personally respond back to me...RED FACED Me. They really are going to take a personal interest and ACTION on my Report.
I was shocked! Next time you have a problem,,,,,,,,There are really people there.
You all know how you get that canned response back when you send them the spoofs. Well,,,,it REALLY is Safe harbor. That was on the e mail response back to me. Good luck.

Well, once in awhile, you get some moron on Ebay to assist you.
I recently reported an unwelcomed bidder/blocked bidder who used their other ID to bid.
The 2nd ID even had a bogus address on Ebay.
Their Paypal address was another state and the ship to address was different, not confirmed.
I searched on GOOGLE for all info.
Copy/pasted all the information.
Get this dumb response from SafeHarbour that they could not find any violation.
HELLO????
WHAT?
Address on Ebay does not match the REAL ONE.
Not even close.
Not to mention the other violations, bidding on their own items using the 2nd ID.
I sent the 3rd complaint and told them I'd send one everyday till the properly investigated.
Sometimes, you get CS people that actually work. Some just click some canned response that makes NO SENSE.
Sorry for this long winded comment, but this JUST happened to me.

I echo liveinjeans's response. I report 3-4 dead email addresses to SafeHarbor every day and follow up to see if anything has happened.
Nothing. Nada. Zip, zero, zilch.
Usually I get the canned "member is in the process of changing their email address" letter, but it is a lie. It's just something they send to get rid of the trouble ticket. How do I know? I send another email to the suspect ID and sure enough, it bounces.
Now, when I get the Customer Service survey I always make sure to check the Very Dissatisfied box. No one ever follows up on it, BTW. No Customer Service supervisor has ever gotten in touch with me to find out why. Oh, I did get one of those automated surveys once in email...but it made NO REFERENCE to which trouble ticket! They wanted ME to enter that information! Like, gee, I've only reported one incident to SafeHarbor this month so surely I must know what it's all about.
Whoever is in charge of Customer Service should be fired, his wife and children put in the Witless Protection Program, his house burned to the ground and the earth salted so no eBay blight can ever spring up there again.

You're lucky to even get a canned response these days at ebay but sometimes a real email that isn't a form letter comes through. I figure it's like an IRS random audit where they pick one or two out of a stack.
I ALWAYS fill out the survey and write 'very dissatisfied' as well to both questions.
