Have you tried logging in to your eBay account?

Have you tried getting to your my eBay page?
Is it possible that someone has hacked your account?
With so many spoofs around, I'd dig a little deeper.

I have been able to accesss the page- They sent a form to fill out with all of my identity information-which I did but I still do not understand what they are saying was done on my account-I think if someone makes an accusation they are obligated to be more specific than just a blanket indictment-

It's likely just a spoof. I received two of these "notices" this week. I forwarded them to [email protected] and safe harbor confirmed they did not originate from ebay.
If you clicked on any links and/or entered your password (or other sensitive information), I would recommend that you go to ebay immediately and change your password.

I hope you didn't just get scammed! Did you send anything to eBay asking why and get a response directly from them? I've gotten these types of notices requesting information but I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER fill out my personal information, especially password or credit card information until I have contacted eBay to see if the request was actually from them.

Good Luck!

Get on this immediately! If you filled out a form based on an e-mail you believed was from eBay - you've been SCAMMED!

Alert eBay and get them to change your passwords, etc. You will also want to make sure anything else you have passwords on have been updated with a new password by you.

I received my first one of these last week, Spoof verified it was a fake. Got my first from my ISP yesterday. I called them. They said it was a spoof as well. Darn these guys are good!

These have been coming for several months now. The scammers often send out millions of them at once and if they send you to a website the site is almost always shut down already and if you send in your contact info the email almost always bounces. There may only be a very small window of opprotunity for the scammers to send out the emails and harvest a few replies before the run off.
