When you get one of these "requests" from "ebay" asking you to login via an email... Here's a great way to test it out...

For your userID enter something like SpoofSucks or any other such insult.

For your password, enter another insult. Who cares what.

Now, if the form ACCEPTS these inputs and then takes you to another form to enter your additional information (credit card, checking, etc.) -- you KNOW it's a fake.

ebay HAS our records and passwords -- that's how we can log on from their site. These hacks do not and as such have no means of validating what we enter. They are assuming people are idiots and will just fill these forms out with correct information.

Now you know.

Any email that has a way for you to enter a password directly in the email is a spoof. Also never click on a link, becuase they can
send you to a different location than they appear. If it is an ebay link cut and paste it into the address line of your browser, if it is real it will come up with the page you are looking for, if it is not it will come up with something that does not make sense.

These guys are getting smarter all the time, so be careful.

Fill them all in with all sware words. So far all that I have done processed. It is about time we get back at these crooks and discourage them with all bogus info.

If Ebay lost your info, how did they get your email address to send the request for info? How would they know if you were giving them the correct info if you were stupid enough to answer the email? DUH!!!

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
