I don't know what is happening lately.

I have never had this many delinquent payments. I sent out reminders to 4 bidders tonight and received 1 reply out of the 4.

But, this person says: I'm sorry. I will send out payment right away. I have been out of commission due to surgery.

OK. That might work. But, she/he has 186 listings running with some ending tonight and some ending every day this week. So, for at least 1 week this person has been listing and selling. Started everything at 99 cents which is what they are ending at so maybe she thought she would make the $89 for my items before she needed to send it? Not at that rate! Not after Ebay fees anyway.

Just venting....but I have filed 5 NPB's this week and still looks like I have 4 more to file. And, that is out of only 50 sales. Also, it is the items that closed with the highest bids and they total over $300!

Me too, I have never had so many non-payers. I sold a book for a good price of $20, never got paid, relisted, sold for$3.99, no payment again, relisted, this time it didn't sell. From thinking I had made a good profit, now into a loss, and lots of hassle, and it goes on and on!

Last night was the best night's sleep I've had in weeks. I filed for FVF on a deadbeat. It was her third strike and she was NARU before I could get over to check it out. That's one less to worry about.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

I had a rash of them a couple of weeks ago. So far, things have been great since then. They all paid, but only after I filed NPBA. It's not like my requirements are hard to understand: Respond to my WBN within three days; payment in 10. Somehow I think that they are under the impression that if they ignore us, we'll go away. Fat chance. I also had a string of "Oh, I thought I had already paid you" excuses. I wonder if they treat their household bills in that manner. If so, they must spend a lot of time sitting in the dark!

LOL @ Cheryl!!
(sitting in the dark here), just kidding!

I have one high bidder/winner that bought an item from me who also sells the same items on a regular basis.

That's fine, EXCEPT, I state in all auctions that I only ship to PP confirmed addresses.

So what does this over 1200 feedbacker do?
Tells me ..oops! I did not read that part.
FIRST LINE IN ALL AUCTIONS, DA.

So, told her to send a MO. It's been 8 days.
Have I gotten the MO yet? From 4 states above me?

Sent her a NPB warning yesterday.

Guess she's trying to elimimate the competition?
Power seller too, oh well.

I am just naggin' all over the place!!

Lately I am having the I'll pay you by next Christmas or you are never contacted after the auction...they bid and vanish, and you sit and try to figure out what they are going to do. I have several NPBs to file today. I'm sure I'll get e-mails saying I was going to send the payment by Christmas...why the attitude?

I can sympathize, so far these last 2 wks, I've filed 20% NPB alerts. Everyone has responded or paid, but it's like pulling teeth.

If you read on you will see I paid and I paid within the 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't jump to conclusions.

Edited to add: And, I had the courtesy to email her with my concerns immediately. These people don't say anything. Or, they say they will pay by Friday and then Saturday they will pay on Monday and then Friday....etc.etc.etc.

I offer 100% refund if not satisfied and I have 100% positive feedback, so my bidders don't have any legitimate concerns.

Just pointing out Linajean that maybe they decided their "friends" were more correct than doing the right thing...

You needed to post here to decide to pay and then made the statement "wished had taken the neg" $30 is $300 to some.

Twelvepole:
You know you really should get a life!

You cannot compare the two. As stated, I offer 100% money back quarantee (and have only had to give 1 refund out of thousands of transactions).

This person you are referring to had 89 negatives and they were for selling misrepresented items and never shipping what was shown in the photo's. Which she also did to me.

But, if the opportunity to post your usual negative comments made you feel important today then I am glad I gave you an avenue to show off your vast understanding of every situation!

The situations don't compare at all and it's really silly to drag up an old thread that has no bearing on lindajean's present complaint.

There seem to be an increasing number of deadbeats and slow payers if you read the boards or are in contact with other sellers.

I, too, have had more deadbeats in the last couple of weeks than in the past 5 years.

On my Christmas wish list:

"Buyers must file credit card with ebay to register and the credit card of the bidder will be charged for all listing fees and final value fees if auction is not paid for."

It will never happen, but it is the holiday season and I am starting my "Wish List" early.

kkbclear, Hurrah! Hurrah!

You mean buyers just stummble in, buy up a bunch of stuff kind of like on LAY AWAY (us being laid away) Not even so much as a Deposit like in the REAL world and we get to eat the fees?

E bay needs to enact the credit card process immediately if NOT sooner!

Buyers have NO liability!

Let's get this on an EVEN playing field.

Bombard spoof@ebay with that sentiment. They really ARE Safe Harbor.

At 12:00 (Cali for nia Time)Bombs Away!!!!! Come on Do it! It can ONLY help to wake E bay up.

LOL about the LAYAWAY policy. I get a lot of requests to wait and see what else I might be listing in order to save a buck on shipping fees. This is not Wal Mart!!

Me too! I had one person bid (ignoring my "I do not ship outside the USA" statement) from Taiwan back in September. Didn't receive payment until I filed NPB which got him NARU'd the middle of October. So, he sends me the $23 for the item but did not include the $15 for shipping.

When I email him back he says he wants to wait until he sees what else I will be offering. I told him I would not be listing anything else in the category he bought from until after Christmas but now, just like in September, no answer to the emails.

I have his $23 cash....I have his posters...and I guess they will sit here forever or until he finally decides to mail the shipping portion.

Negatives mean Nothing. I love using SEARS on e bay as my prime example. Check their feed and then come on back. Thanks for shopping at Sears.
