I want to launch an auction today and not list shiiping charges. How do I do this--do I have to list $.01???

you don't want to put a penny in there. some buyers will go ahead and checkout without waiting for the shipping charges. then they pay whatever is in that spot. I usually put the top possible shipping rate there, if they checkout and pay too quickly then I just send them the extra shipping amount with their item.
Life is only as good or bad as you make it.

Good advice, don't list the shipping too low. People WILL check out, and it is a pain to get them to pay the right amount. I always seem to get foreign customers to pay at the US shipping rate, even though the auction clearly states their rates are higher. I always estimate high if it is something where the price will change based on the location, and refund the difference...

I'm confused. I never put shipping in any box on eBay's 125-page Sell Your Item 2.10101 form.

The only place it goes is the text of the auction.

Keeps the little buggers from attempting Checkout, I believe.
