Maybe I'm naive, but I have been watching three items from the same seller (sweaters.) Now, mid-auction, the items have changed completely!

What had likely happened is the seller sold those items elsewhere and instead of closing the listings, simply changes them to something that is on hand. Makes perfect business sense.

The seller probably sold them off eBay, that's not legal and instead of paying another listing fee, called fee avoidance he just took everything down and put a new one up. I guess if you don't get caught your all right.

Yes stonecold its like not paying the final value fee. I amagine there is a lot of that going on, but as long as I am not doing it it's okay with me.

According to a recent thread at OTWA the sellers of concert tickets change the item quite a bit and have no problem with ebay.
