Sold an item to a person but over the past three days the email address is dead..

1.) Should I wait, two weeks, one month, or two months and see if the money arrives?

2.) Move on now.

The bidder is now and has a feedback of 2 positives recently.

I send about 10 notices over the past three days and they all come back.

Thanks

Go to the link on Ebay, SAFEHARBOR or your seller page..scroll down....

File the section that reports invalid email on the bidder.

You will have to click a few times to complete the form.
Have the ID and the item number on hand.
COPY/PASTE the properties of the returned email too.

If you have used Ebay email to contact the buyer, then proceed.

If you haven't, try that first!
Good Luck!

I have a customer with a dead email address. Followed the link on reporting the problem all the way through. The last page said to click on the link to report....but, no link.

Where did I go wrong?

I guess that a lot of sellers just shrug their shoulders and move on when they encounter a dead email buyer. Then the buyer buys again with the same dead emal address and maybe leaves a negative feedback because the seller never contacted them. This probably is right behind the spoof security emails on ebay's prioriy list but ebay seems to being zip about it?
