Yes, I am having a problem too. It is very slow to connect. Sometimes pages are not loading. And I am on a cable modem so usually it is very fast loading. Must be a glitch in the ebay system right now. Not a good day for this!

Wonderful....nothing like an outage on the busiest selling day of the week. Great timing!

I'm on cable also and although I didn't try Ebay I did do a Pay Pal transaction that took forever to complete.

I can usually get to my listings by clicking my listing item from Vendio.
That isn't even working.
I am perplexed!

Slow here in Wisconsin. Looking to buy a Coach purse and I'm trying to snipe it next hour, but I'm afraid I won't be able to get in. If I'm lucky I'll be able to get in and no one else will

Just read the tech board on Ebay that it's the Roadrunner customers primarily.
We have no problem getting to other sites however.

Waaaaa!!! I didn't get the purse. I bid 5 minutes before it was going to end but was outbid and by the time I found out I only had 40 seconds to bid again and it was too slow to get the bid through. Ugh!!!!

ihula--try a sniping program. I use vrane.com, and they routinely bid 7 or 8 seconds before the auction ends. If you put in the absolute maximum you are willing to pay, you don't have to worry about bidding a couple of minutes before it ends only to have someone outbid you and you then go in with what your "real" maximum is.
I recently won something for my sister by sniping. This was an item that she has wanted for years, and she told me to bid WAY up on it with a snipe. She hoped it would go for far less, but she wanted it so much that she was willing to pay top price for it. Lo and behold, someone bid just a few dollars under my snipe about 15 minutes before the end, and my then my snipe came in and won it. If I had tipped my hand 5 or 10 minutes before it ended, I think we would have had a real bidding war and I might have ended up paying a lot more for it. This other person put in a proxy bid of about three times what the current bid was for, so he or she obviously wanted it as badly as I did!
