I just got an email from a winner who has not received their item. 2nd email but I reply to the first one and followed up when I didn't hear from them a week later.
The email I recieved today threaten neg FB and reporting to paypal etc.
The item must be lost but I don't appreicate the treat (it's only been 2 weeks total since the auction)
Does ebay have a policy against this??
I'm on the edge of sending her a really nasty email?
Help

Doesn't sound like you have anything to report. Do you have proof that you mailed item? Was it insured?

Some people get their panties in a wad thinking you are trying to cheat them. Keep trying to contact them. Sometimes when they don't seem to be getting emails I have to call them on the cell phone with nationwide FLD.

Isn't threatening neg FB against ebay's policy?
Yes I do have proof of it being sent but she didn't insure. That's not really the point - I answered her 1st email and then sent an additional one asking if it had arrived yet and then I get this? I am not avoiding her. I have done nothing to deserve neg FB?

Maybe you are right - but nothing was returned. I'll write again to see if she is getting the emails. May send it by way of ebay

::Isn't threatening neg FB against ebay's policy? ::

You are joking right?

Threatening a neg when try to extort something is not allowed ...i.e. - Give me free shipping or I'll give you a nneg.

Telling a seller that you have paid but have not recieved anything from yet is perfectly allowable understandable and justifiable.

Remind your buyer that at this time of year, with all the Christmas catalogues etc, bad weather in some places, things often take longer to be delivered. Selling from Canada, this is always true at this time of year.

I will send her a nice email using some of the helpful suggestions you have given me.
Think I just need to vent.
Thanks

"Yes I do have proof of it being sent but she didn't insure."

Mind if I ask what kind of proof you have ??.
Anything short of delivery confirmation and you could end up with a neg and a Paypal clawback.

I've got a DC plus a PO receipt showing city mailed to the day after paypal receipt (small city in CA)
Gee the whole thing was a lost to me anyway and such a small amount paid - just didn't like the threat (and I still think it was one as I did nothing wrong so why should I get a neg for this??

This is only the start of what I call the "crabby" season. Fa, la, la, la, la. Mail is taking a long time right now. There are already lines forming at the post office I go to. I'd give her the tracking number so that she can track it as well. Sometimes that helps. And, sometimes there's just nothing you can do to please people.
