What does a buyer mean when they write "send me a link for payment"? I suspect maybe it has something to do with paypal (which I don't take). If anybody knows of anything else it might mean (and how I would do it), please let me know.

I would have to agree with you. I would bet they have been using PayPal from other sellers and they're looking for the email or invoice that includes the link that goes directly to PayPal to make payment. That's my take on it anyway.

A little off the subject. . . . I've had a couple of new Ebay folks lately who couldn't figure out how to send me money via Paypal. It's been easier just to send them a Paypal invoice (which I finally had to learn how to do--ain't hard!)--and that worked just fine.

That's exactly what these lazy people are asking for. I always direct them to my WBN and tell them to follow directions.

I wouldn't say "lazy"..I think these people barely know how to turn on a computer. Someone taught them how to get to eBay and bid, how to pay with the "PayNow" button and that's about the extent of their knowledge. Did you say you take BidPay? Maybe they want a link to BidPay? I doubt they have the savvy to type an URL in the browser address window.

You might be right neglus. But from the tone of the e-mails, I got the impression that she probably wouldn't want to pay the Bidpay fee. I sent her an e-mail with the combined shipping costs (she won 2 auctions and asked if she could save any money if I shipped them together).
I also told her I thought she was asking for a link to paypal which I don't accept. I haven't seen a reply yet.
