Hahaha....
Hey, can anybody tell me about this stoneware pie plate, the pattern - if you've ever seen it? It looks old, its grazed or crackled, but I thought it neat as it as those chicken feet (whatever you call them) pie pincher things are right in the plate. I dont know if you can see that from the picture..and no, there is no marking on the bottom or anywhere.
It seems to have some blueberry {?) stains too..anybody know how I can try to get them out? I think its stoneware or earthenware (but i dont even know the difference, really!) Thanks for your help.

Did Pfaltzgraff make a pattern like that? I know my sister liked blueberry motif and I think she had dishes like that. Now I could be wrong, as sometimes I am, well the majority of the time I am so lets wait for someone else opinion. and darn I can't spell today either...

To get the blue berry stain off, try soaking it in a solution of Oxyclean first for about 10 minutes. It won't damage it and you won't have to scrub it.

Libra, thankyou! After much research I started to come to the conclusion it may be a Pfaltzgraff too! (*if Sp too tired to care).
There is a factory and/outlet down here, so there are lots of pieces around!
Paloma, thanks, I'll try that. The stain doesnt bother me if its a blueberry pie plate...... well I dont make pies, but I kinda like this plate myself.....so let's see if I can part with it now!!! lol...)

If you have a factory there this could be a factory second and they probably didn't put the stamp in the pottery. Blueberry is a hard collectible to find as there are not many pieces around. I guess the reason she likes them is that when we were young and close to the ground blueberries were easy to pick and we did a lot of that.

Pfaltzgraff does have a pattern called "Blueberry", This is not the same. My book has only 175 patterns, so it maysti;ll be Pfaltzgraff. It should be stamped on the back.

Thanks Sanmar! I did note somebody wrote in like black marker an "M" mark on the bottom, which I know I've seen before. But I didn't think I could trust that. I mean, what does that mean? The M wore off and someone wrote it on there?
Libra, I didnt know blueberry stuff was htf?
I love blueberries too! Esp. fresh in summer with whipped creme! But even making muffins ususally splat the sh* somewhere and it does stain everything!
