Hello, I am new to this and I signed up for the Sales Manager flat rate plan thing. I was just wondering if you get charged for listings that you create on here and then still get charged by Ebay for the listing too...like the .10 listing fee and image fees.
Thanks
Marie

Marie: I"m on the same plan you're on. I do pay Ebay for listing auctions and for the extra bells and whistles there, like gallery, etc. But I don't pay for all the images I use in my auctions, and that for me is the beauty of going through this Vendio plan. I LOVE Vendio and hope it stays as wonderful as it's been the last three years for me.

If you have an Internet Service Provider (ISP) they alot you some webspace to set up a webpage if you so desire. Mine gives me space but I haven't done anything with it yet but sooner well maybe later I will go in and see what it is all about. I have only had mine for 4 years so I guess there isn't any hurry. For me Vendio is very easy and cheap to use so that is why I stick with them. I don't use any of the other services Vendio provides only the image hosting.

to Heicory: i store approx 400 images at a time on vendio...my bill usually runs 18-19 per month...higher if i use the high resolution on jewlery, cars, etc. i have been with vendio, since its earliest days...i cant compare them to andale, because i never used andale..but, again, vendio will host unlimited numbers of images, 350kb max per image, for up to 90 days[this is only if you dont use them]..i.e., longer if you access them.. as example i have one new item i sell continually..one sells then i relist auction with same images..been running one set images for 2 years...check into this hosting; you may find it to your liking and cost effective at the same time...
finally, i think every isp offers web space - yahoo offers space also as a web host - i cancelled them because they shut down your auction if the traffic is higher than your subscription allows..i.e, if you have a auction taking a lot of hits, you are only safe if you have subscribed to their more expensive broadband service[this may have been improved in last 2 years].....and check aol...their space is free, but limited...as is every isp i have seen...but as someone else's thread suggested, the isp's certainly merit your review - check 'em out!!

The free image hosting sites are almost all gone but the low cost sites are still out there at a few bucks a month.

If you have AOL, you get free web space and as mentioned above, it is limited. But you can set up 7 accounts on AOL at no extra cost and get the free space with each of them giving you 7 times as much space.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

yes,i am on AOL and i have been using the webspace for many years, you should ask your internet service provider how you can save your images on your alloted webspace.
the pictures are a lot nicer than what ebay has to offer.

Does anyone use Adelphia Power Link to host their pictures? That's my ISP and I've yet to figure out how to use the 10mb of space I have.

Cheryl does your ISP provide Tech Support? If they do just call them and they should help you.
