I am trying to understand all these fees. so
my question is, If I have an account and store with Vendio, then I have to pay them fees for those services but then on top of that, pay the Ebay listing, FV and image fees for every item vendio lists on EBAY? If so why would I want to pay both companies???

If you don't want to pay both Vendio and Ebay, don't store your Ebay photos on Vendio, and don't list thru Vendio.
IMHO it's worth the extra cost for the convenience of Vendio's listing form and for the ability to use as many pictures as I want to insert in a given auction for free. Also like the ability to enlarge the photos in the auction.

Vendio provides picture services, and Post Sale Management features for Ebay Items and Vendio Store items.

Using Vendio's Services, my customers get emails after the sale, after payment is made, and after shipping, with a link for them to be able to track the package.

These emails are automatically sent to my customers. I do not have to go into PayPal and match up payments with auctions and sales, as Vendio does that for me.

For that, I pay Vendio according to the plan that I chose when I signed up for their services.

They also offer email services, and other things like watermarking of images if you desire.

Vendio charges fees for the services they provide.

Ebay on the other hand, lets you list your items on their website. They will also sell you picture services, or give you one picture service free with every listing.

They charge listing and selling fees

If you want to sell items on Ebay, you pay their fees.

If you desire Vendio's Services, you pay their fees.

If you store pics on Vendio and list through Vendio then you will not pay Ebay any pic fees no matter how many pics you use.
And you only pay Vendio a set listing fee no matter how many pics you use.

Ken, I understand your concern with extra fees, but take it from me.Vendio is a good deal! I consider their fees a small price to pay for unlimited picture hosting and invoice management.

I used to have real storefront. IF my overhead had been as low as my Ebay/Vendio/Paypal fees, I would have been rich by now. I would prefer to pay the online fees to have a smooth running, goodlooking auction business, than to pay my old 60% overhead and be tied to running a business outside my home 20 hours a day!

Write it all off as the cost of doing business. Sure, you can do it cheaper with out the bells and whistles, but how much is your time worth? If you can automate the process, spend your precious time listing instead of pushing paperwork, you pay yourself more in the long run.

if you list directly through ebay, you can only have one pic without paying extra fees.

with Vendio, I pay 10 cents per auction and can have as many pics as i want for no extra fee. the small percentage FVF that Vendio charges me is nothing compared to the time they save me in listing and post auction management.

the best value for a $1 i have spent lately in my opinion.

I second the use of Vendio. There is so much more to it than just listing. Storing images, keeping tack of auctions, showing the number of hits, sending reminder letters, Keeping my inventory of closed auctions. I have been with AW/Vendio since it started & will never change. Just using the templates & being able to use html to set up my auctions is worth it.

With your own ISP hosted photos or a low cost image hosting site ( $3-$9 month ) you can list as many photos as you want for free and use the free on on ebay too. The ebay selling managers at $5 / month & $16 month are very powerful and fully integrated auction management programs. So there are ebay alternatives to Vendio as well as lower cost third party services such as SpareDollar.
