I notice that when I'm on Ebay and I scroll down (one screen at a time), that my screen drops 2 screens instead of 1.
I tried adjusting the mouse settings, and the advanced settings in Internet Explorer but the problem still exists. This does not occur in applications, only on the internet.
It's not good because I'm afraid I will be scrolling past listings that I might be interested in.

ok folks, i got the answer. In case anyone does regular updates to their system, you might be experiencing the same thing. Here's the fix:
do a file search for mshtml.dll and find the file that has version 6.0.2800.1106. It should be in a service pack file such as c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386.
Copy this file to you c:\windows\system32 directory and overwrite the file that is there.
It worked for me..... If you regularly update your Microsoft O/S, you might be experiencing this problem/

I had the same problem - it started after one of the Windows XP updates ran. I emailed MS, and received a reply, saying basically they realize there are issues with the security update, relating to scrolling, etc. - and they are currently working on a fix for it. The MS tech support recommended I uninstall the update. I did, and everything is fine...

Wow, am I glad I'm not the only one who's having the same problem! I thought I'd done something wrong. Hopefully, they'll include a fix in the next update they do since they're aware of the problem....
