of the VENDIO Community? It would make MORE sense to have the last thing said be at the TOP of the replies.......OH Well, I mean who I am I???????.........

Have to disagree there.

When you come into the page, seeing the newer replies first would be meaningless if you haven't read what they are replying to.

So long as we're a left to right, top to bottom reading society, this is pretty much the way it should be.

On your keyboard is a PGDN button that will help.

I agree. With the newest posts at the bottom, you can logically follow the discussion.

Right peiklk I agree with your logic. Even with the old posting first I don't understand some of them. But it makes sense, if that is the right word, that the beginning of the message is first and so on so we might beable to get the jest of the thread before we hit the bottom.

It might be nice if there were a jump to newest post button like most message boards have. Sure would save some time....

They could do that and also be able to find past threads.

I was looking for that one about Roadsmith (?) and the ashtray in Iran for the soliders? I have been meaning to send something out for them. Really want to do that. Anybody remember about when that thread was?

Sorry, JACK, but I have to disagree with you. It would be very confusing to have the beginning of the thread at the bottom. By doing that, you would not be clear as to what the thread was all about.

AH!!!!! The Where's Fluffy thread is a Perrrrrrrrrrrfect example of my thinking. Those that follow certain threads already know what is going on, those that aren't are latent and that's not anyones job to update them but themselves if they find interest in a thread.
This will never go anywhere I know,,,but that's my .002 cents. kinda like getting the news a week later.....I want the latest skinny righ now.....not after pages of PAST information..........

Japanese have plans to bomb Pearl Harbor,,,,,,5 pages, week later,,,,Japanese have Bombed Pearl Harbor.

and the beat goes on,,,,,,,

Better example,,,,The Gov.,,,,

there may be a hurricane,,,,
looks bad..
smell the air....
stuff moving...
animals are stirring..
start getting ready...
Hurricane is HERE!!!!!

NOW,reverse all this.....MOST people would have been following this information...

Hurricane is HERE!!!!!!,,,,is all anyone needs to know. Right now!!!!! If late readers want to see what lead up to this,,,,,have fun, the rest of the people have evacuated or found safety........

Lead or be left in the Dust....

AND THE BEAT GOES ON,,,,,

The 'Go to last unread post' suggestion by RomaHawak is the best solution. Many message boards have that useful function.

Tessa,
I was looking for that one about Roadsmith (?) and the ashtray in Iran for the soliders? I have been meaning to send something out for them. Really want to do that. Anybody remember about when that thread was?

There is the abiliity to search the Vendio Message Center via a special search engine. Vendio maintains the search engine but does not promote it at all. To use it you must check the small box in the lower left corner that says " also search in msg. ctr. "
