We are 2 feedbacks away from our shooting star. We were watching all weekend. It's driving me crazy. We were hoping it would come on hubby's birthday on Wednesday the 10th, but I'm sure it will happen any minute.

I don't think I've ever refreshed pages more often (I feel like a little kid)

Wow. Is that for 1,000 FBs? I'm at 750 now but it's slow for me. Congratulations. Adele

Wow! Congratulations.

Do you have employees? HOw did you get that high? Didn't I read that you also have a full time job?

We don't have employees, but my husband stays home and packs and goes to the post office (and takes care of the house and the cooking). I work full-time as a visiting nurse, so I come home at lunch to answer emails (he hasn't mastered that yet) and to print out the endicia forms (he hasn't mastered that yet either). We do a lot of duplicate items, so listing only takes 15 minutes a day - that part is a piece of cake.

We just got our first website purchase today too! We don't have the shopping cart set up yet still, so she just phoned it in.

Wow - doing the happy dance today
Thanks everyone for celebrating with us!

Actually I was trying to send you an email to say you really don't have to buy that video if you don't want to, but my email is acting up....so it will probably get sent in a few minutes.

Anyway, I only ship to confirmed addresses (just kidding - I'll send it to the moon for you if you want )

Well. Now you have it!! Congratulations!!! Hubby must spend a lot of time with the camera. You are working on a very slim margin, no wonder you have such a volume. I don't want to work that hard at my age.

It's not too bad. Normal days hubby works 4 hours and then goes golfing (in the summer anyway). At this point all my items are repeats, so once you take pictures it's just a matter of click and relist. I probably work 2-3 hours a day at it with emails etc. I'm trying to get away from videos and start back ordering pallets, but hubby is fighting me on it - probably because he knows it's a lot more work - greater profit margin, though.

HEY, you did it! I've been away all weekend, so just saw this thread. Congrats, ihula!
What is taking you so long with your storefront? Did you load Oscommerce, or a different one?

Hey Dragonmom,
Thanks for the congrats!

I did load an Oscommerce template and putzed with it one weekend and got really frustrated. Turns out that because my server uses PHP I have to work on the template "live" instead of through Front Page and that scares me to death because I don't want this half done, unprofessional website sitting there for long periods of time. I looked into someone doing it for me and they wanted $500.00 (which is looking more reasonable as we speak). We have to stop listing soon since we are going away for Christmas, so I figured I would work on it at that time....of course I say that every weekend too "I'll do it this weekend.....I'll do it next weekend...."

Congrats Hula!! I was wandering through the Gaslamp District (six blocks of downtown restaurants and such) last week and thought of you when I realised there was a new Tiki themed restaurant opening soon : )
