I have several pending payments from different customers on bidpay.com (now auctionpayments.com), they are all more than $300 and they are pending for more than 10 days now. Not stopped, not approved but PENDING. Does anyone have similar experience ?

There was another thread about this in the last few days. One poster said that calling them solves whatever is holding up things. But another, upon calling, discovered that her buyer hadn't gotten approval.

I just had a UK buyer use BidPay (or Western Union Auction Payments, as they are called now),and it went through within an hour. Will be mailing out their item tomorrow.

I also had a buyer pay and they never sent the approval email.. so I just checked my acct and it has been approved.
The money orders are taking a little longer too.

Gleb - if it has been 10 days you definitely need to call them - the number is 800-350-5952.

E-payments coming through PayPal have been extremely slow as well. Since Early October, most have taken nearly 2 weeks to clear.

Ditto experiences with both BidPay and PayPal eChecks.

I was just noticing that a customer bought a BidPay m.o. 12/3, was approved 12/5 and I still haven't received it.

I've got a fortune in uncleared eChecks pending...

So what do you think the holdup is here? Surely the eCheck clearing process doesn't depend on any human intervention, so why should it be slower now?

Does BidPay require a human other than putting the m.o. in an envelope and mailing it?

I've never had anyone use Bidpay, but Paypal's check clearing process takes forever. I had one take almost three weeks! It only takes 3 days for paypal to transfer your funds to your bank account, but three weeks for a check to clear? My bidder emailed me to tell me her check had cleared and it was a week later that Paypal notified me.
