Has any one else but me been having problems getting searches on sellers userids to work?
All of a sudden I cannot see what my bookmarked sellers are selling. I get a message from eBay saying that maybe I should rebookmark my searches, and that they (eBAy) are working tirelessly to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. It has been a week I think since this problem has started.
I thought that it could be my fault since I just got a new computer and possibly I set something up in my security settings that I know nothing about. But if that is the case, then why is eBay saying they are working tirelessly to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
By the way, if I go to eBay's seller search and put in the userid, the search works just fine. Then if I boolmark the new search it still works fine. It is only my old bookmarks that fail and not only in the USA but overseas as well. First the USA searches went out, then Germany.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks

The sellers that had their email addresses as their user id's are changing their id's. They only have a little over a week to change or Ebay will do it for them with an id of their choice. Once they change their i.d., the old one will only show up in search for 30 days and then it becomes invalid. This happened to me this week. All of a sudden I could no longer access My Ebay through my bookmark. I had to sign out, and then enter My Ebay manually by signing in with my new i.d. and re-bookmark the page with the new url.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Thanks for trying Spaekz, but 95 per cent of the user ids I had bookmarked were not email addresses.
BTW, the searches on buyer userids has not changed.

My guess is there is something wrong with your bookmarks. Is use the seller search everyday and have not had a problem.

I am having the same problem. I decided to check on some of my favorite bookmarked sellers to see what they have listed and I got this message for all of them:

**Input Error
One of the parameters received was invalid for this function. This probably means that your browser had problems with the form or you invoked the function incorrectly. Please go back and try again. If you're using an old bookmark, you may need to rebookmark it due to recent changes to protect your privacy. We are aware of the problem and are working tirelessly to resolve it as quickly as possible.**

None of them have changed their names/userID's.

Yes thrifty, that is exactly what my searches said. So far I have not found a way to fix the problem, nor has eBay even with their "tireless" effort. What BS that is.
I have copied the seller name and made a new seller search, then rebookmark, but that is a lot of work. If you find an answer, plese post a reply to help me. It is obvious eBay is not doing anything.
