Could anyone tell me how to add the Pay only with Paypal option on Buy it Now through vendio to my Ebay auctions?

Hi kninmo,
You can not do it from Vendio. Launch your auction from Vendio and then go to EDay and revise the auction. You will find the Paypal immediate pay option in the price revision section.

While we are on the subject, have others of you had trouble relisting items which have the immediate pay option? I can not get them to relist thru Vendio. They get an error during re-list launch if I have tried to remove the "Buy It Now" option.

Finally out the BIN back in and it worked.

How does one get the credit card logos off of your auction?

I did the downgrade to a personal account. Now because those logos still appear I am having problems with the ones who send pay pals using a credit card.

Thanks!

JacksWeb, I am having the same problem. I have posted a HELP message on this board about a week ago, and got only one response. It was suggested that I change my E-Bay password so that PayPal wouldn't be able to insert the autologos that they are so fond of doing. I too still have the credit card symbles in most of my auctions. I am hoping that when I launch new auctions I will never see them again. I think that it confuses the people into paying instantly using their credit cards, and I find I am having to deny payments and sent them additional letters of explanation. This is a real pain in the butt!

However, not having to pay their rip-off fees and getting charge-backs is GREAT!!

life is good.............

Ya know Jack, maybe the people who we are denying were really turning out to be deadbeats anyway?

The reason I say that is that some of them are the first to complain, "if I can't use PayPal, then I won't pay" What kind of crap is that?

Tell them all real nicely, most are understanding, the others are the people I have issues with.... I have sent 6 non-paying bidder alerts out today. Some even try to pay again with a Credit Card. I want to say directly to them, "what kind of no do you not understand?

Cheapskate freeloaders are causing them to charge the "Real" accounts high fees. If you don't like the fees they charge for the service don't complain about their "free service". One of your major problems is all the cobweb in your wallet.

People are basically skinflints.

Who couldn't see this coming... ROFLMAO...

6 deadbeat bidders...LOL
People still using credit cards...LOL

Buyers DEMAND protection and using a credit card is the best way to get that... I no longer buy on eBay without using a credit card...

I am sure MANY MANY others do to...

"if I can't use PayPal, then I won't pay" What kind of crap is that?

Your response is:

"Of course you can use PayPal. We happily accept any PayPal payment that is NOT funded by a debit or credit card. You can pay us out of the cash balance in your PayPal account, or from the checking account you have linked to your PayPal account.

"No linked checking account? Go HERE (use a pointer to PayPal) to get started.

"Don't forget you can always pay us using a credit card at Western Union Auction Payments (formerly BidPay): http://www.auctionpayments.com"

It's an ongoing education process, well worth the few seconds it takes you to cut and paste this boilerplate into your reply.
You are in fact doing a great service, since it's a wide world of auctioneering and while you may be the first seller a bidder ever encounters who does not accept PayPal CC payments, you will not be the last.

You wouldn't believe how many people I've taught to go directly to http://www.paypal.com to make a payment.

Here is what PayPal sent me when I asked:

Dear MY NAME DELETED,

Thank you for contacting PayPal.

If you prefer not to display credit card symbols with your PayPal
Auction logos, follow the guidelines below. There isn't a way to
completly prohibit someone from sending you a credit card payment.
Listed in your auction and your logo display will be the steps you
can
take to help in the decrease of credit card payments sent.

If you indicate you accept PayPal as a payment option on the Sell
Your
Item form, you are agreeing to accept both Credit Cards and
electronic
checks. To only accept electronic checks from PayPal, do not select
PayPal as a payment option on the Sell Your Item form.

If you are currently using PayPal's Automatic Logo Insertion feature
or
Winning Buyer Notification, you must first deactivate these features
and remove any current logos from your auction listings.

To deactivate PayPal's Automatic Logo Insertion feature, please
follow
these steps:

1. Click https://www.paypal.com/AUCTPROF or copy and paste the
entire
link into the address bar

2. Click 'On' in the 'Automatic Daily Logo Insertion' column

3. Select 'Off'

4. Click 'Update'

Following these same steps, click 'On' in the Winning Buyer
Notification box to deactivate it.

This process does not remove logos already placed on your auctions.
These must be removed manually.

If you already have an eBay listing with one of the PayPal logos and
you would like to remove the logo, you may do so if no bids have been
received and the auction does not end within 12 hours.

To remove the PayPal logo from your eBay listing, you must revise
your
listing and erase the HTML code corresponding to the PayPal logo.
Please follow the steps below:

1. From within your auction listing click 'Revise item'

2. Ensure that the Item Number field is correct and click 'Submit'

3. In the 'Description' field please delete all the PayPal text
between the following tags; <!-- PayPal Logo --> and <!--
End PayPal
Logo -->, </A> or </TABLE>. It is very important to
remove all the text
that refers to the logo

4. Once this text is removed, click 'Continue'

If you are a seller on a different auction site, you can manually
remove the PayPal logo from your auction listing by removing the same
HTML code from the area that the code was initially placed. If you
are
having difficulty locating this area, please consult your auction
website's Help files.

To manually add a logo with no Credit Card information, follow these
steps:

1. Copy the HTML code below into a TEXT file
2. Change [email protected]
to your email address you have confirmed
on your PayPal account
3. Copy the HTML code you edited to your Template or to the body of
the auction description when you list an item

<!-- Begin PayPal Logo -->
<A HREF="https://www.paypal.com/affil/[email protected]"

target="_blank"><IMG
SRC="http://images.paypal.com/images/lgo/logo3.gif"
BORDER="0" ALT="I
accept payment through PayPal!, the #1 online payment
service!"></A>
<!-- End PayPal Logo -->

If you accidentally place a non-compliant logo in your eBay listing
and
someone has already bid on your item, eBay does not allow you to
revise
your listing. We suggest that you contact eBay's customer service for
instructions on how to alter a current auction page that has already
received bids.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us
again.

Sincerely,
Lorenzo
PayPal Finance Department

Original Message Follows:

Form Message
customer subject: No more CC or DC payments
customer message: Last 4 digits of the credit card used to make the

Message: 'Please set my account so that Credit Card and Debit
Card payments are not accepted. Even though I state
clearly in my auctions that I can no longer accept
them (since you people have twice sided with a scammer
against me) people are STILL sending them. It is a
total waste of my time to have to come here and keep
denying funds. I will NOT go back to paying you fees
when you side with scammers of honest people who,
quite frankly, pay your salaries. Correction, paid.'

fluffy: that is basically what I've been
saying, but I'm going to modify your text
as I like it better. :^)

horsey: "cheapskate freeloader"? I've been
paying PayPal fees for several years, and
they have twice sided with a scammer AGAINST
me. This time, it actually cost me REAL
money. Now, it is costing them REAL money...
