My wife wanted a portable amplifier several weeks ago. I bought one on eBay, it was delivered and worked great. A friend of hers saw it and wanted one also. I volunteered to get one for her. I sucessfully bought another one from the same seller.
The Fedex driver dropped it off about a week ago, and ran back to his truck. When I picked the box up, it was rattling. Of course the amp didn't work.
I notified the seller, and he was kind enough to send another one, which I received today. It's a non-working rattler also.
This time of the year the merchandise isn't handled with the greatest of care.

I hate buying stuff for other people. What a pain, especially when problems arise, and most of the friends do not appreciate the hassle it sometimes takes. I now try to avoid buying stuff on ebay for friends at all cost.

I don't like FedX or UPS anymore. Everytime I get something sent UPS the box looks like it's been run over. Seems they take no pride in a job well done.
