I posted over 60 auctions at 8PM with only a couple of problems. Now it's been almost 2 hours and none show in a search. For those who listed this evening..do your auctions come up in a search? How long did it take?

I believe the searches are always a bit slow--sometimes 3 - 6? hours after launching. Others here will know more about this, but I just wanted to reassure you.

Anna, with the FLD, it will likely take longer than usual for your auctions to show up in search. The last update was at 6:50.

The manual listing process has now crawled to a near stop. There must be a definite limit to how many listings can be submitted per hour. The listings overload has to affect the searches and other ebay functions.

I've had auctions scheduled to launch every 15 minutes since 1:00 this afternoon. Right now there is about a 15 minute delay in processing, which was expected. You can click on Vendio announcements at the top of the page for updates. Also, on past free listing days, Ebay limited the description search to the first 35 words. I've seen no mention of them doing that this year but they may have partially disabled search during the evening rush to free up some resources on their servers.
