Does anyone know the name of the super strong coffee they serve in Turkey and Egypt?

It is served in very small cups and is so strong you can almost stand a spoon up in it.

Hint- it is not expresso.

Trick question, right?

It's "Turkish coffee". Always has been.

Nope to the above. Yes, we call it turkish coffee, but they have another name for it. I was in Egypt a few years ago and if I heard it I would recognize it. I'm thinking it was something like mustafa, muzaka (I know, NOT muzic). Come on you all know everything! someone gots to know what I'm talking about....

There are different names depending on how you order it - maybe one of these will be familiar.

ahwa sada: black,
ahwa ariha: lightly sweet
ahwa mazboot: moderately sweet
ahwa ziyada: very sweet.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
