Just received this in my inbox this morning:

hello,

I had saw your offer to be a Trading Assistant on eBay site..As an international seller, sometimes my client insists to pay us by USD money order rather than Western Union money transfer which is a convenient payment in my country.Unfortunely, most of the banks in my country don't provide the service to cash out USD money order. Therefore,an idea to find a Trading Assistant who able to help us cashing the money order and forward us the payment by Western Union's Money Transfer had raised in our mind.

Are you interested to be my Trading Assistant?
I am willing to pay you USD$30 commission for cashing each money order.

*e-mail your name & address to ([email protected])

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Actually looking for a Trading Assistant is my friend's idea,as he doesn't want to lost a lot of business because of unable to accept USD money order. My friend owns an electonics store in a local shopping mall,he would like to take the chance selling on eBay to expand his business. We are selling high-end price goods like camera, home electronics, audio equipments etc. based on the products available in his shop. There is only one local bank able to cash out USD money order, but the bank charges us USD$25 for clearance fee and it takes about a month to process. Therefore,my friend told me "why don't we just pay a Trading Assistant in United States to help us?I don't think any of our clients willing to wait a month to receive their item!We would lost our business and posted negative impression if like that.."

At this moment we are outsource all our product listing on eBay to a few Trading Assistants posted excellent rating who we had signed agreement with..After the auctions ended,we will send Our Store details and Western Union payment instructions to the winner. In the case they insist to pay us by USD money order,we will then give them your name/address to mail-in the money order with the explaination that you're our eBay Trading Assistant who act as 'intermediate' that merely help us cashing the money order and forward us the payment. All other matters like product details, warranty info, shipping method etc. must contact our shop directly. After we had received your confirmation the money order been cashed, our store workers will packing the items and ship it out to customer on next business day.

We will e-mail you the money order details as soon as our customer had mailed it to you.It will takes 2-7 days to arrive at your place, then you can either cashing the money order at Western Union agent (recommended) or bank-in into your account. You may wait until cashed 2 money orders before forward us the payment via Western Union money transfer for your convenient and the commissions far enough to cover your transport fee to Western Union agent..After you had sent the money transfer, you need to provide us the MTCN number on receipt and actual amount transfered (exclude your commissions & Western Union fee) .

We have doing business for about 10 years since the store started..We truely understand the important of "TRUSTWORTHY" between buyers, suppliers and ours.We stand behind our products all the time and believe the farsighted view that "Repeated Business" is the only way for us to stay in business.

If you're interested to be my Trading Assistant, kindly e-mail your name & address to ([email protected]) .Please don't e-mail to current Yahoo! mail as sometimes i had problem to login..

Hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you.

Best Regards,
Alan Fung

"TRUSTWORTHY" lol @ Alan Fung!

Is that your first opportunity for the new year, sparkz? If so, things can only get better.

Yep Kiara, this was my very first chance to make money this year. I started to answer them, but I figured I'd hold off. It's early and there may be some REAL moneymakers come along soon Over in the liquidators thread, Pelorus had a bridge for sale that I'm thinking about.

Hey - if you can make the same 500% profit on that bridge I made from my last liquidation purchase I'd go for it

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Want to buy some swamp land in Arizona? Send me the money and I will exchange it for you.

I get those two or three time a day. It is a scam.

I just realized from this thread that, there's such a thing as trading assistant on ebay.

lol. they hardly ever mention it on the site. or at least i dont dig around enough.

and I'm assuming they're going to send you fake money order.. you cash it.. bank post the funds even though it hasn't clear, you send western union payment. check bounce. you're out 10,000.

If they are smart, they will send a few legitimate money orders first. Then once they have your confidence they send the large amount fake ones.

my 2¢,

Rob
