has anyone ever put their items on non-U.S. Ebay sites? What was the response and do you think that would work for laser discs?
I have the last of the Twilight Zone (smile) laser discs and have had no luck selling on U.S. Ebay. Thinking maybe go to a non-U.S. site. Feedback?
Just visited Ebay Canada and doesn't seem to be a lot of action; under laser disc there were practically no bids.
Maybe this reflects the overall economy on Ebay.

1) There is no eBay Japan - Yahoo owns that market.
2) Unless your laser disk is a foreign import of something not sold in the US (LIke the Japanese Song of the South LD) or that has rare never released elsewhere extras it's nothing but out of date technology and outdated in the US is outdated in Canada, the UK etc. Before checking other sites you should also check compatibility.
I list regularly on European and occasionally on Latin American sites and like anything else you have to research the market and the cost of doing business. What are like items selling for? Are they selling at all. What is the shipping going to be? Once you add shipping can you stay totlal price competitive and still be profitable. What forms of payment do you accept and are they compatible with the country you are dealing with?
There is no one set rule and no one is going to hand you the answers. You are the one that taught a class - did you bother to mention the importance of research? Did you follow your own advice? I'm thinking that since you asked about eBay Japan you probably didn't.
