Hi all,

A friend of mine has this auction running.

Can anyone help ID the pattern or maker? She says she checked her china pattern book and couldn't find it.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Edited to remove the link. I know my friend doesn't have the best pictures but I don't think it was necessary to come on as strong as you did, Ltray, and yes, you were very rude.

Thanks!

Lucy

Hi MsLucy,
I don't mean to be rude, but I am going to be. Tell your friend her pictures suck!

I love glassware, but those pictures are so bad I wouldn't touch it. Too much reporduction stuff out there. Especially the "vintage Nippon".

She needs to learn how to photo edit. I don't care what her house looks, I want to see what she is selling!

Now , with that said. I don't know the pattern name but a good picture would sell a complete nippon mustard set in a heart beat regardless of the pattern. Plus pink rose anything will sell if the bidder can see what they are buying.

And I am not being bitche`, just frustrated with all the shoddy pics on ebay.

Dear MsLucy,
Sorry to unlease my frustrations on you. I'm just feeling pissy because I received yet another item that was not as advertised and of course the auction pictures were too bad to really be able to tell the condition of the item.

I swear I am going to quit buying from such sellers, but then, this is an addiction.

And just incase you are wondering. No I didn't leave them negative feedback for false advertising. I don't have time to educate them.

Heck, I think I'll just go crawl back under my rock til the weather warms up. Anybody got some Prozac??

libra-the only thing tom and I have in common is that I was playing ice hockey at the coast guard academy in new london,ct where tom went as he was in the coast guard.
I served my country in the REAL Navy.We in the REAL Navy refer to people in the coast guard as "bath tub" sailors. As far as Ralphie goes...I have a REAL dog,its called a chinese sharpei..dont know what you call ralphie..is that really a dog?Tom is a democrat, which means he lives in evil middle earth, I am a republican which means I represent everything that is great about this nation.Tom has a great website, and knows alot about auctions, I on the other hand have no website, and know just the basics about auctions. So to answer you question-NO LOL!
