Recently, I have become a little more attentive in checking feedbacks for bidders in my current auction. I just looked at one. Whoa!!! 35 FB's...6 negs for non-payment in the past 6 months.

Can I reject this bid? If so, how do I do that? Haven't sold to this bidder previously and didn't have he/she on my block list. Also, my TOS does not mention that I reserve the right to reject a bidder. Is that a problem?

Thanks in advance.

Tammy

You can cancel their bid and then add them to your blocked bidder list.

Can I reject this bid?

Abso-fricken-lutely.

Go to Site Map.

Click on "Cancel bids on my Item".

Ta-da.

You do not have to have reserved this right in your TOS. Every seller has the right to reject any bid from any bidder at any time (the auction is open) for any reason.

Nope. Ta-da is ta-da, "wa-la" is voila' They do sorta kinda mean the same thing, though.

yeah, this is one nice thing, as a seller up until the auction ends, you can cancel ANY bid for ANY reason

It worked, with your good advice. And, a big thank you again.

But, I just have to wonder. With all of those non paying neg fB's, how in the world is this person still on eBay, as a buyer?

ts68: negs donna mean much -- you need a TOTAL SCORE of -4 before feeBay will hurl ya for bad feedback...& then only if someone points it out to feeBay!

That's why it is soooo much more important to file for FVF refunds -- that hurts MamaMeg's purse & she HEAVES them off!
