A group of Monks is selling printer cartridges at discounted prices. You might want to check them out. It says re-manufactured cartridges. I have never used re-m'd cartridges, but the price seems pretty good. I will try them when I need new cartridges.

Hello Reamond,
Before you purchase anything from a company you don't know, be careful and find out if they will let you return the cartridge if for some reason it does not work. Also, there is a difference between remanufactured and refilled cartridges. If they are selling a version of the OEM cartridges that really are remanufactured and not simply refilled, that's better. Refilled is just that - refilled. But remanufactured is when they actually rebuild the components in the cartridges to make sure everything is in working order - including photo-receptors, and other sensitive cartridge parts. Many of these unknown companies sell cartridges to the general public but will never honor a return and then you're out of luck and money. Also, if the cartridges are simply refilled, that can cause all kinds of problems if it is not a reputable company that is refilling them with the correct toner. Usually ink-jet printers are pretty simple, but when you get into dry ink, that's another story. It can permanently damage your copier or printer.
I know this because I own a supply company in Maine that has been in business for over 15 years, and I've heard all the horror stories. Sometimes, you get just what you pay for - junk. Just be careful.

i have bot discount cartridge from a website,it is cheaper but it is poor quality and it does not last long.

I picked the link up from an AP wire feed story about them. I would posit a high probability that they are legit and perhaps give high quality service. After I do some business with them I'll follow up here on the board.
