I don't know if this is up your alley, but I thought I'd ask you since you're a magazine seller:
After going through these boxes of Orchid Bulletins, I discovered, in addition, several catalogs from the 60s for orchid sellers. Do catalogs such as this sell? They have both color & B/W photos of orchids, price lists, sizes, etc.

I am not Roadsmith, wish I was as it sounds like she lives in a beautiful area, but I would try one and see what happens. I wouldn't list a bunch as that would cost you money. One would only be the 30 cent listing plus FVF.

Well, I'll try one or two & see how they fly. Sometimes it all depends on who is looking at the same time you're selling. Censorship, like charity, should begin at home; but unlike charity, it should end there --Clare Booth Luce

Here are a couple of thoughts for you, Bunny.
1. You could try selling one separately (but of course mention it or link to it from your magazine auctions and vice versa).
2. You could add one catalog to the first magazine auction and call it a bonus. When the magazine auction sells, ask the buyer if the "bonus" was attractive to him/her. (When I sell something unfamiliar to me, I frequently ask buyers what they were searching for, how they happened on this particular auction, etc. I'm learning a lot that way.)
I'd try the second approach, above. Perhaps with a group of magazines from the same era.
PLEASE let us know how this goes for you. We are all learning as we go along! ~Adele
