This one was new. Customer wins bid for artwork that has a twenty dollar shipping fee. He pays thru paypal and two minutes after paying emails and stated dont sent the artwork, just keep the money, the shipping was to much.???? But he had already paid for the item and shipping. Go Figure.

Something doesn't sound quite right here. I'd refund his money. Could be that a stolen CC was used and now he or she is having second thoughts. Just doesn't sound good.

I believe I would send it.
And make him sign for it.
Make sure you have proof it was delivered!

Sounds like they may be expecting a shipping refund. I would make contact with them and clarify. Unless this is a large sale, they may refuse package, or charge back, or who knows. Better to cancel the sale and not put yourself through the aggravation of packing and getting return.

How much money is involved? Is this buyer a newbie? What's their feedback?

.I doubt it's a stolen credit card. In my opinion people that use stolen credit cards are not using them to buy artwork.

pointy

They use them to buy all sorts of things. A recent one I had bought artwork, computers, jewelry, clothing and other things they fancied.

I would refund and move on. Sounds weird to me. I agree there is a good possibility it is a stolen credit card. Maybe they just wanted to test the card to see if it would work.

Isnt there a way you can contact the credit card company and see if its stolen?

Not sure what to think about this one except for Cheryl pushing the panic button.

I guess I would ask for an explaination from the buyer as to why. I think I would also contact the PayPal doofuses to check the validity of the credit card at the present time. I doubt they will do it, but it is worth a try.
