I read an article this morning on Drudge Report about a student selling her virginity on the internet to help pay tuition. The article said that her brothers had tried to sell it on eBay several months back; and also an interior designer had auctioned her virginity off on eBay - so I did a search, and check this out...

First, he doesn't specify that it has to be a female HUMAN. I could mail him a goat. An OLD goat, since it has to be over 18.
Second, I had no ideal there was a law REQUIRING that all sex must be taped. (Read the wording #8 again)

I think you are misunderstanding the text. What they are saying is that because there is a monetary exchange involved the only way that it is considered legal is if if it is being done for taped distribution....
In other words...

This is the problem with eBay. They can't police their own auctions. It's pretty bad when discussion boards come up with out landish auctions. This is turning the older buyers away and bringing in the scum. It's to bad eBay doesn't have someone monitoring the discussion boards. Does anyone know how many discussion boards about ebay there are, not counting their own? There is no self esteem any more. At least the auction that this thread was started about is gone. It's to bad when a seller or buyer has to turn auctions in when they are against eBays rules. With all the technology out there there must be some program so that red flags fly when illegal auctions come on. Maybe it is back to the flea market. This thread sort of relates to another one that just started today "out of here". I think this type of auction makes a seller think twice about staying around. Pretty soon eBay will be in the getto if they don't change their ways. My Opinion....sorry this is so long...

Libra - considering that every whacked auction that violates policy that is brought up on this board is shut down within a couple hours of the thread starting - what makes you think they don't have people monitoring message boards?
Remember the big stink over the new Feedback page that went on here and apparently on other boards when everyone thoughthey would be dividing feedback by negative vs positive? A few days later ebay added an additional page to their section on the upcoming change explaining that they were not doing that and saying why (Ace still has refused to admit he was wrong on that by the way).

That is not why those auctions get closed down. The reason they get closed down is many of the good people that post here and even auctiondoofus turn them in to ebay. Ebay has made it very clear that they will not police there own site and will rely upon others to turn in auctions that are in voilation of their TOS. If it wasn't for us turning them in, they would not get yanked.
PS: You will never get the doofus to admit that he was wrong. He even opened another ID here, mscuff2u and he keeps answering his own posts and thinks he is really fooling us. What a dumb@ss.
