Have not seen any threads regarding this subject so I am wondering if anyone is planning on delaying launching 7 day auctions today. I realize that not everyone watches football but wonder if the game will cut down much on sales and if it is better to list tomorrow.

Yks since the Packers are not playing I completely forgot about it and I am hosting a superbowl party. I think I am going to change my starting day to tomorrow. With vendio it is pretty easy.

I'm not selling any "guy" things this coming week, so I'm listing about 20 items, all to end by the time the game is over, I hope.

I'm adding, centered, in all caps, a statement at the top of each auction description: BID EARLY! THIS AUCTION ENDS ON SUPER BOWL SUNDAY. Still a risk, I know.

In my experience in the past, Super Bowl Sunday has been very good to me. It has been my experience that there are a lot of football widows and they get online and shop.

I listed many items, mostly non-football related. We will see how it plays out this year. I just finished a few moments ago my Sunday listings.

Libra! You are not alone. As a Viking fan I can feel your pain. Even though I now live in sunny CA, I have been a Viking fan since their beginnings in 1961. Oh how I remember Billy Boom Boom Brown, Fran Tarkenton & The "Purp-le People Eaters". Those were the days, in -zero degrees temps.

I see boom boom from time to time. Last time I saw him was at the Mall of America. There was some kind of vikings function there and many of the local Viking players were there.
Did you know that Rich Gannon is Bill Browns' son in law?

I sell sportswear and hats. I will be selling Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots stuff all this week and next. They have both been flying off the shelf since last week.

Listed tons of things today for next week. I wouldn't list tools, or playboy magazines (if I were to sell those things) but if you think about it, the ratings for the superbowl are probably not that much different than an episode of American Idol. Not everyone watches the game, and with the two teams playing (Patriots and Panthers) it isn't like two big market teams are playing either...
