I realize that a this is in "beta test mode" for only a few cities, but wondering if anyone else out there has given this service a try yet?

For all you Endica lovers...this has most of the same features (no international though, or insurance), and best of all-NO MONTHLY SERVICE CHARGE (like stamps.com, etc...).

For straight Priority Mail pkgs, it's a breeze, and easy to use interface.

Just curious to see if anyone else has tried it yet...(we're in Los Angeles btw...)

Can I print an online shipping label for Parcel Post, Special Standard, Bound Printed Matter or Library Mail?

A. Not at this time, however, we are considering adding online labels for these services in the future.

80% of my items are PARCEL POST, so this donna help me...

I have used it since it was first offered, really like it-the only reason i even thought about PAYING for mailing services Endicia or Stamps.com was the convenience of stealth and insurance. I have never stood in the PO lines , My DH drops off my things each AM about 6:30. I started using Endicia about 4 days ago and have had no problems that a 12 year old could not solve ( even this blonde had very little trouble ) OF COURSE the great folks HERE are also very helpful.

Just a few reasons to use Endicia instead are:

You don't have to copy and paste each line to enter the address.

You can use a thermal printer.

You can use any shape label you want. (including the free USPS priority labels)

You don't have a charge on your card for every label printed. (paypal debit card have 30 per day limit)

You don't use Java run-time. (causes a lot of computers to crash)

The only problem is that you cannot add insurance to an item w/o going to the PO. This makes it worthless for me. All of my items require insurance because they are fragile.

sanmar-Im just the opposite-since I sell only videos, I usually never need insurance.
I like the usps because the "delivery confirmation" is free thru the website.I also use the usps because they have boxes that are perfect for sending videos and they are free.I did sell a video for $106.00 last novemeber,so i sent it with signature confrimation also.I still didnt insure it-its kind of hard to break a video wrapped in bubble wrap.I guess it all comes down to WHAT you are selling.
