I have been waiting to hear about my U-PIC application ~~~~~~
I received an email from U-PIC saying they
"we have not received your $25
policy fee". I had NO ideal I had to pay $25 up to sign up -I guess I am just surprised that it came with a start up charge

There are some real twits in every organization. Just call them and ask to speak to the person that handles the Internet department.

U-PiC didn't charge me a start up fee. They did try to over charge me. I dropped them after the first month. I now insure with Stamps.Com or the Post Office. The first $100.00 is covered when shiiped with UPS. I would stay away from U-PiC, even phone calls didn't correct their billing.

They are always changing things there. One minute they charge an $80 startup fee, then it is $25. On another auction management board there was a big discussion on signing up with U-Pic. A few people mentioned they were charged $25.00 and others said they weren't charged anything. That really upset the ones that were charged! Hopefully, you can get them to drop the $25.00 deposit.
Is it a deposit or $25.00 fee? Do they deduct the insurance units from the $25.00 until it runs out and then just charge you based upon units used per month
Another thing, please have backup copies of your logs. For months, they said they did not receive my logs and cancelled my policy. When I informed them that I had been emailing them to my service rep "Jane". They told me she had not worked there for months.
