So I have signed up, now what? I have tried to import my one and only listing from Ebay and it won't let me.
I go to Import under Sales manager and I get an error saying that a it is already trying to import from another link. That was over an hour ago and I still get the same error.
I am wondering if it is because Vendio made me alter my username from Ebay a little.
Do I need to put this useer name in somewhere on Ebay for it to transfer. Same with archives, nothing worked.

After I get that figureded out do where do I start?

Thanks for any help you can offer. I am hoping this will be worth the extra fees.

The appropriate place to post this is in the Vendio Section of the Bulletin Board.

Community > Vendio Services > Sales Manager and Image Hosting

This thread is not monitored by Vendio as is the other thread, and you could always email them with your problem directly under their support link.

Io answer to your question though - yes you do need to go in and enter your ebay account information. I believe it is under My Account

A note of interest about the #1 third party auction management company named Andale is that soon it will sell it's Vendio-style Community message center ( OTWA ) back to it's original owner and Andale will not have any official message center at all. That sure makes Vendio look a lot better than Andale.

Do you know people who actually judge the value of their listing program by whether or not it has a chat board? I used Vendio, and the chat. Vendio did not work for me, too clunky, too quirky. I didn't think twice about dumping it. I switched to a service which *gasp* actually has no chat board, just quick simple listing, consistant image hosting and in depth sales and P&L reporting... you know ... the important stuff.

If you are not selling enough to hit the minimum you may not need the extras. I don't think I just paid the minimum in at least a year. It's not about saving the pennies. It's about saving the valuable time for me. Time I am not spending figuring out actual profit margins and evaluating what items are worth or not worth my time is time I can spend doing design work for clients or working on other projects or just playing around which one can never put too high a price on.

Put it this way... how long would would you spend figuring out your actual profit margins after ebay and Vendio fees for the month of January? I just did it in 2 minutes.

Hence more proof why the doofus needs to get out of the house more often.

AuctionWorks does have listing tools that dwarf Vendio's by comparison, but they do have their problems. IMO Post Sale in AW has a lot of issues, and they've had some serious outages recently. There's a fairly active eBay Group dedicated to AuctionWorks (not run by AW):

There was an interesting post by the AW CEO:

You may need to join the group to see that post.
