I have a pair of CARL ZEISS DIADEM opera glasses. They have mother-of-pearl on them and some metal with black. Very small and in a black leather case with metal and a metal hanging strap. I think they are quite old. The metal is very tarnished Anybody know anything about them?

Zeiss made quality German optics. I can't tell how old they are without a photo. Victorian Old Opera bring 50 to 80 bucks if I remember right. Newer ones bring much less. Good Luck.

I remember using those-Nov 10,1970-Carneigie Hall N.Y.C.Bought 4 tickets to see Neil Diamond. They were the last 4 tickets left.Carneigie Hall has 5 decks, and we got the last 4 seats in deck 5.I distantly remember by the time we climbed to deck 5 the
stairs were almost straight up and down. When we sat down,I joking said to my date, damn were up so high we could use binoculars.About 10 minutes later this guy came around selling binoculars in a box.

These may just be the ones, Classicrock. Although they are pretty cruddy but with a bit of spit and polish, I think they will shine. I think they were used at Woodstock tho.
