Hey, Have you noticed an increase to your store sells? In the past couple of weeks I have had sales from all of my webstores. It would be fabulous if I could chuck the Ebay auctions forever (the fees are killer). Since Ebay gets the most traffic I will keep it.

You wouldn't have to chuck them just list less. Do you get your traffic because of eBay, if not then just do a few auctions a week and that will keep that expense down.

How much does eBay contribute to the flow of traffic to your site? On a cost basis, how much can you budget for eBay fees before you start to experience diminishing returns on the cost? Has anyone got any rough figures? What is the minimum you can dole out and still maintain satisfactory exposure?
I know I am not able to stop people from utilizing eBay, it is not logical to abandon an effective, albeit faulty, market exposure. I recommend you fine tune your expenses; keep your costs, not at the minimum, but at the optimal level.
This is what car manufacturers do. If they can eliminate one bolt at a savings of 2 1/2 cents they save $25,000 on a million vehicles. On a practical level, save 5 cents on each auction and you tweak your cash flow $150 a year if you list 150 auctions a week with 40% sell through. Do that a few times and you can afford a trip to your mother-in-laws house for a looooong Thanksgiving weekend, or a cruise to Rio.
