{{{waving HI ohmslucy!}}}
funny..I've always pictured you as petite, young, short dark hair..........
but I guess I shouldn't be surprised when we all posted our ages here, since everybody was OLDER than I thought we all were/are whatever.

Hi to you too, Glassgrl!
Gosh - I'm not petite, not young and don't have short dark hair. Hmmmm... Oh well...
I put the chandelier pics back. (I delete images once the buyer has left feedback.)

The Chandelier did pretty good - congrats.... I bet it was the "gothic" in the descrption

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Lucy! I like your picture! You do look petite. Or you just have a petite face. Anyway, you look like a very nice, peppy lady.

LOL classicrock!
I thought this sounded so déjà vu. Then I remembered that time when me and my buddy Twelvepole were talking to Sanmar and Ms. Lucy.

Classicrock, you are bad!
I was wondering if Sanmar or Lucy have been back to the Santa Margarita Auction Barn. I just checked some of the past auctions and some beautiful things have sold there.
Here is the site.

awww, you used my "Charles Eastlake" line, I'm so flattered!
I've visited Cambria. What a beautiful little town. We stayed two days, at the Bluebird Motel (i think) and walked around town. I bought a handmade set of panpipes from a local craftsman, and I still have them!
Think of me while you're there, I'd love to be there with you guys!

Hi everybody,
Yeah, Sanmar and I had a nice time exploring the antique shops. He was looking for china.
Dragonmom, I did use your Charles Eastlake, also Fenix' suggestion of Gothic. When I looked at what my high bidder had bought in the past, just about everything was Gothic.
You guys here are the absolute best help in the world and I thank you for the help and hints. It worked - that chandelier sold nicely.
The next Santa Margarita Auction is coming up. There's always loads of neat stuff there. Not many screaming bargains to be had but wonderful things to buy for yourself.

I think the next auction at Santa Margarita is March 7th. If you want to see som beautiful stuff, click on that link. They will have loads of pictures on the week prior to the auction.
Yes, we had a very enjoyable afternoon. Neither of us bought a thing, just too expensive. They cater to the high rollers from the Bay area. I saw sets of china going from $800.00 all the way up to $4000.00. Nothing that I could deal on.
