Hi. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get a paper label off glass without ruining the label or scratching the glass?

I've had good luck using lighter fluid to remove sticky labels off of paper items such as magazines, the fluid loosens the glue but doesn't damage the magazine, should work on glass

if you use your blow dryer directly on it, the sticker will peel right off when the glue heats up. hubby showed me this trick and it works like a charm on any surface we've tried to far. doesn't leave any sticky residue behind either.

I gotta agree w/Rarriffle. If you want to take off the label without damaging it, gentle heat is the best way.
On the other hand, if you are wanting to to clean your item without damaging the label, try holding your thumb firmly over it while you gently clean around it. Once the label area is clean you can do the rest of the piece.

Blow dryer gets my vote. Works every time! (Even dries my hair!!! when it's wet!!!)
