I have been using this for a couple of months & am wondering, Can you block out the amount of postage that shows? I know the PO reads the Bar Code. I don't have enough to warrant using one of the commercial ones that run over $10.00 per month.

No you can't!
If you could I would use nothing but them.

There are some additional advantages to ENDICIA other than just the "Stealth Mode" -- among them being the reporting features and the live CS.

But, with the integration into eBay of the PO shipping feature, it's becoming harder & harder to justify the $14.95/mo

I do LOVE that STEALTH mode -- haven't had a shipping-fee pretzel-choker for over 2 years now!

Decisions...decisions...

Oh tomwii, tomwii, tomwii ... I really don't think you have to fret over your "decision" which seems quite set in stone - You KNOW you LUV 'stealth' mode ... and you make your endicia fee back, and then some, along with your overall s/h/i charged each month, yes?!

At least that is what I thought I have been hearing you say for a long time.

YES YOU CAN!!!!!!

I just now found a way around this. From my ebay I clicked on Print shipping label - it made me sign into paypal and then let me print a shipping label that did not show the amount.

This is a big breakthrough for me. Try it today. It charged the shipping to my paypal account and did not show the actual shipping amount on the label. There is the option to show it if you want however.

I am ecstatic about this as I never signed up for those monthly services for a fee. This is the best thing paypal has brought me.

I just tried it for another package using paypal and not my ebay. It also works. Another good thing is that you can print postage for first class, media mail and parcel post as well as priority and express mail. Clearly this is superior to click n ship. There is a 33 cent charge if you do not ship via priority or express however. For me the 33 cents is worth the effort.

Now does anyone know how to get usps to come and pick up a pile of packages from our house? I thought I read a while back there was a way to get them to come pick it up?

What's the procedure for using from paypal?

Just went there and could not find any way to get in, except through Ebay.

O.K. I got Ya!

It appears you can't just go in and send postage.
Must be from Ebay or Paypal related.

After you have printed your label, you should be taken to a screen where you have the option to order a pickup. Keep in mind, though, that the pickup is for the next business day. I find that odd because my post office will not accept a package where the date is wrong on the label. My postal worker said it makes it appear as though they are taking longer to deliver than they are. I asked her, "Now, how is that possible? You already take forever to deliver." I didn't tick her off, we've known each other for a long time. I did manage to get a chuckle out of her.

My question is, if you can print First Class postage from PayPal, why can't you from the USPS web site? Doesn't make much sense to me.

I used it today, this great as I always use P/P for postage. I just wait until the mail delivery comes by & hand her the pkg. Only disadvantage, you CANNOT get insurance on line. So if I have something really fragile I still have to go to the PO
