Jack... What the heck did you just say?
I looked at their auctions (Their username is simply Sears) and was amazed at all the rules. They won't ship to Alaska or Hawaii, no PO Boxes, no online payment, blah blah. I especially liked:
"Sears does not accept any online payment,
including the following:
• PayPal
• eBay Online Payments by Billpoint
• Sears does not accept cash, checks or
money orders "
And what is the point of them having an eBay store with no categories or store items?
But to be honest, it looks like now would be an excellent time to get a deal on Christmas tree!

Nothing I hate more than when you pretend NOT to know what I'm talking about!
I'm SURE you know that it is against the rules to be a NON-SELLING-SELLER & that PRE-SALES have to be stated as such in BIG letters -- if ya don't have the items in stock, don't start an auction & then cry about "volumn"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is not permitted for a seller on eBay to refuse payment or delivery of an item at the end of a successful sale.
If you have sent payment and have been unable to receive your item or a refund, please refer to the eBay Buyer Protection Program for information on how to proceed. On this page you will also find instructions that will allow you to report the seller.
If a seller has refused to complete a sale and payment has not been sent or payment has been refunded, report the seller . Make sure to include a copy of the email documenting the seller's refusal to complete the sale with the full message text and complete email headers when making your report.
After receiving your report, eBay will consider the circumstances of the alleged offense. Disciplinary action may result in a formal warning, a temporary suspension, or an indefinite suspension. If a complaint cannot be proven with certainty, it is possible that no action will be taken. Due to privacy issues, eBay will be unable to discuss the result of the investigation.
Sears biggest problem isn't with Ebay and their Non Delivering Seller rule. One of the negative feedbacks stated tha the item was out of stock and Sears offered a substitute item at a higher price. This is known as a "bait and switch" scheme and a local district attorney can greatly enhance a county's coffers when he sinks his teeth into one of these cases, at least here in California. I have no idea how the state of Illinois views these cases, but it's a very serious criminal offense in most states.
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
