Hi, all: I decided to try the new PayPal/Ebay shipping labels. Went through all the hoops, paid $3.85 for priority shipping tomorrow, etc. Never saw where I can actually print out the label, and cannot find it anywhere. What have I done wrong? Sweating already, with a brand-new program!

It should have opened in a 2nd browser window which probably opened underneath your main browser window. You can use your browser print function to print the label.

Now that I"m out of the program and have gotten the e-mail from PayPal saying erroneously that I have created and printed a shipping label!! are you thinking I can go in somewhere and still print the danged thing? I watched for a second window and didn't see one.

You might try. Go to the 'details' of your PayPal transaction and see if it's there.
It should behave exactly like the UPS label function.

How do I reprint a UPS label I created with PayPal Shipping?

You may reprint the UPS Shipping label from your History page. Note that you may not use the same label to ship more than one package.

Here's How:

Click on the My Account tab
Click on the History subtab
Find the PayPal payment for which you created a label. You can use the Search feature at the top of the page to help you.
Click the Details link in the Details column of the payment
Scroll to the bottom of the Transaction Details page
Click the Reprint Label link
From your web browser's File menu, select the Print option to print the label

You should find any question you have there

Thanks, you all! Something worked, somehow. When I tried to print the label, nothing happened. So I first clicked on "print preview" and it all became clear.

This technophobe absolutely detests learning new stuff for Ebay sales! I get frustrated very easily if something doesn't work the first time, and then my panic and frustration blind me to what's right in front of me. Gad.

Thanks, toasted. Sometimes I feel just brain dead. And I don't like to lose any money anywhere--especially to PayPal, if something doesn't work. (I see that they warn us refunds can take 15 days or so.) I was just anticipating trouble ahead, so I'm greatly relieved. I've printed off everyone's advice for next time if I need it.

I love the Vendio community!

I love the fact that you can print the label without the postage showing. That should stop some of the griping about actual shipping costs, anyway. I also love that now you can do first class and parcel post! I'm using it in my store because I only accept credit cards through PayPal there. So far, so good!

The secret is GO SLOW & READ EVERYTHING 2X until you are comfortable with it. I really like it, & have no trouble with it. On the bottom of the message you received from P/P there is a link to cancel your label within 48 hrs of the time you printed it.

Hi Roadsmith,

I'm also having a problem with Paypals/Ebay shipping label service. The print label preview was unavailable and when I clicked on the 'reprint label' link I received the following error:

The U.S. Postal Service online shipping service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.

Note: I've used it before without any problems except for today.

Slab: I know how you feel. When I saw the "reprint this label" message, I was afraid it would take more money out of my paypal account. Then when I did click on it, nothing happened. Very frustrating. I'll bet Paypal is having a lot of fun with new users of this service. The how-tos are not very intuitive!
