Can some help me with the color, age or anything else? The back has franciscan and something else but it is terrible to be old and blind. I would appreciate any help!! Now if I can only get the pictures to show.

That is a Franciscan plate in the Coronado pattern from the 30's and 40's. It is a matte white, from what I can make out in the photo, which is the color that fetches the highest prices and is in the most demand. The two I listed last year each brought about $35.00.

Yikes..when I look at the picture it does look white but it is actually a light blue. Wish it was white since I only paid 1.00 for it..would be nice to have it sell for 35.00. Thank you for the information.

It looks like their Swirl pattern, but perhaps that's some other maker's pattern?!

That is the Franciscan mark that was used from 1940 to 1947. The same mark with a number under it was used from 1947 to 1949.

Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it. Does anyone have any idea what the light blue color is called (other than light blue). Thanks

Coronado in light blue is called AQUA. Made in gloss and matte.
